Be there to experience the feeling

With a legion of international jazz giants as well as local talent, across 4 different stages set to perform, the 21st Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival prides itself in being South Africa’s biggest and oldest jazz festival. Be there to experience three days of the finest jazz music at the Sandton Convention Centre from 27 – to the 29 September.

The festival celebrates diversity with an all-star line-up that embraces musical traditions from across the world. It kicks off with a one-night-only performance by megastar David Sandborn, the iconic American smooth jazz innovator, and multi-Grammy award winning saxophonist and composer.

The festivities will then swing on with the sounds of the inimitable American song-stylist Cassandra Wilson. The Horn Summit, with Feya Faku, Khaya Mahlangu, Mthunzi Mvumbu, Barney Rachabane, Sydney Mavundla, Siphamandla Bhembe and Mandla Mlangeni will all come together to honour the memory of the late South African legend Bra Hugh Masekela on the Dinaledi Stage.
There are many more acts to keep fans enthralled during the three-day event.
